Leech off the state?

Posted in Action items with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , on September 19, 2009 by The New Activist

Now, there are multiple schools of thought on this, and I’m torn, no questions asked totally torn on this subject. I HATE the state, end of story, no questions about it.

So the question that remains, is should I continue my libertarian party mike stance, and refuse to take government handouts on principle,  or, should I go with the logical pursuit of my goal stance, which is to  suck as much as I can off the state while giving the minimum to it in order to further starve it?

PLEASE tell me what and why!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow, so, I was banned from Bureaucrash! AWESOME! I assume it was for the somewhat critical blog I posted of lee doren and the subsequent lack of growth that I’ve seen on the site.  Apparently, Lee didn’t take too kindly to that one. Maybe I was too critical, IDK. But Lee still never answered what happened to my fr33agents group on the Bureaucrash website, which just up-and-disappeared one day. He says he has no idea what happened.

I WAS BANNED! Holy schnitzel! I think thats the first time I’ve ever been banned from, uhm, anywhere, especially online! It’s not like I called anyone any names, or made any threats. I just asked why lee hadn’t made good on his promise to attract a thousand new members just by mentioning Bureaucrash on his youtube channel. Oh, I did however, state that the dude had some hubris, which is a statement I stand by.

What the heck am I blithering about? Well, I’m going to be a host with Rick Caldwell on the new internet radio show, Infrequently Asked Questions. Things are still in the planning phase, but if everything turns out half as well as we hope, then it’s going to be amazing!

Ricks blog post about it is HERE.

Just for a bit of background info, Rick is a fan of linux, EEE computers, and liberty. The show itself will focus mostly on liberty, but also on whatever happens to fly into rick and I’s brains, which for me may be a lot about comic book movies and guns. We plan on having a lot of guests on the show, hopefully as co-hosts for that particular show.

Operation Iraqi Freedom, an utter FAILURE.

Slice it any way you like folks. These people are at best moderately safer, and their promises of a “Representative Government” (when you find a government that actually represents the people, let me know) smashed to bits. The Iraqi Government announced plans to limit internet access today (Tuesday, August 4th) to prevent access to “All Web sites that glorify terrorism and incite violence and sectarianism” and any sites that “violate social morals with content such as pornography.”

It’s good that thousands of soldiers and (hundreds of?) thousands of Iraqi civilians died so that the new boss can pave the way for the old boss (metaphorical) to come back. At least we didn’t spend millions of dollars on this either, especially since the economy is failing and this might be considered a misallocation of resources.
Its so sad that so many of us bought in to both the myth of fighting for the Iraqi people and the possibility of a truthful, representative government for them. This should be a grave warning to us all, especially those who believe that a constitution ensures protection of listed rights.

The Iraqi constitution specifically protects all communications, physical, and electronic from government interference, and yet they march on.

Our favorite lee doren quotes!

“Look, you cannot support the Free Market and ignore the concept of trade-offs”

“If I can remember, Gogulski I think renounced his US citizenship and declared it as the new manifesto.. in hindsight I should have waited, which is why I stopped everything Friday night which prevented an explanation
No, but renunciation I thought at the time was implicitly going to make it impossible for people to be politically active” [when asked why Gogulski was banned]

“We need to accept that means that Atheists are not longer going to be able to get married”

“I’m for a Constitutional Republic. Utopia doesn’t exist.” [when asked about anarchy]

“I don’t find them arbitrary…people died to have those boundaries” [when asked, “what makes the arbitrary political boundaries that define states any more relevant or legitimate than nation-state boundaries?”]

“When we invaded several of the W. Pacific islands, we realized that we were dealing with a death cult…the Japanese soldiers were on suicide missions
In order to end the war we had to defeat Japan
Japan was training their 9-year-olds and women on the mainland to fight with bamboo sticks to the death if we invaded
Even after Stalin attacked Japan, Japan didn’t surrender
We were planning X-day—to invade all of Japan
That meant in order for us to win the War, would have to have killed every man woman and child we saw
So we dropped the first bomb—and they still didn’t surrender
We dropped the 2nd and they did
That saved millions and millions of Japanese lives
It was total Japaneses War where we literally invade and kill every man woman and child or drop two nukes
Surrender was the third option
I choice the Nukes” [when asked if he supported nuking]

and we need to get to first place first”

For those who do not know, Lee Doren is the new leader for Bureaucrash as controlled by CEI, these are quotes from him, compiled from chats, blog/forum posts, and a letter to members of Bureaucrash social.
